Cabrera powers Tigers over Royals

Miguel Cabrera belted a three-run homer and finished with four RBIs, leading the Detroit Tigers in a 7-3 win over the Kansas City Royals Thursday in the series rubber match.

Detroit won the game as +110 underdogs at home, but the 10 runs made it OVER the day’s posted over/under (9).

Magglio Ordonez went 3-for-4 with three runs scored for the Tigers, and Eddie Bonine pitched the win in relief of starter Dontrelle Willis.

Luis Mendoza was rocked for four runs off five hits in only 1 2-3 innings on the mound in the loss.
