Rangers fend off ChiSox

The Texas Rangers scored five runs in the first inning and managed to hold on for a 6-5 win over the Chicago White Sox Wednesday night.

Texas won this game as -120 favorites, and the 11 runs made it OVER the posted over/under (9) set by sportsbooks.

Josh Hamilton went deep for a two-run homer for the Rangers, and Rich Harden gave up three earned runs over six innings in picking up the win.

Jake Peavy allowed six runs off six hits in his 6 1-3 innings for the White Sox in the loss.
