Tigers shut down Twins

Austin Jackson went 2-for-4 at the plate with one RBI as the Detroit Tigers blanked the Minnesota Twins 3-0 Thursday in the series rubber match at Comerica Park.

The Tigers won this contest as +115 underdogs, while the teams played UNDER the day's posted over/under (9.5) set by sportsbooks.

Dontrelle Willis pitched a four-hit shutout through six innings, striking out six in the Tigers victory.

Carl Pavano went the distance for the Twins, allowing two earned runs off seven hits.
