Rays tear apart Mariners

The Tampa Bay Rays completed a three-game sweep of the Seattle Mariners with an 8-0 win in the series finale Thursday night at Safeco Field.

Tampa Bay won the game as -145 favorites, while the eight runs went as a PUSH against the posted over/under (8) set by sportsbooks.

Jeff Niemann pitched seven scoreless innings for the win, striking out six batters along the way for the Rays.

Ryan Rowland-Smith surrendered six earned runs over 4 1-3 innings in the loss for the Mariners.
