Twins edge White Sox

Denard Span went 2-for-3 and drove in one run as the Minnesota Twins snuck past the Chicago White Sox 3-2 Wednesday for a split of the two-game set.

Minnesota won the game as -140 favorites, while the five runs went UNDER the day’s posted over/under (8).

Carl Pavano improved to 4-3 with the win, allowing two earned runs off six hits in seven innings of work.

John Danks gave up three earned runs off seven hits in seven innings in the White Sox loss.
