Yankees toppled Twins
The New York Yankees ran over the Minnesota Twins with a 7-1 win at Yankee Stadium Saturday afternoon.
New York won as a -131 home favorite while the final score played UNDER the 9-run total.
Mark Teixeira and Jorge Posada each had two RBI and a home run for the Yankees. Starter Andy Pettitte improved to 5-0 on the year, going just over six innings and allowing only two hits.
Twins starting pitcher Francisco Liriano lasted six innings and allowing three runs before the bullpen coughed up four runs in the late innings. Catcher Joe Mauer had the lone RBI for Minnesota.
