Suzuki, Athletics slip past Mariners in extra innings
Kurt Suzuki's RBI single in the bottom of the 10th inning lifted the Oakland Athletics over the Seattle Mariners 6-5 on Tuesday night.
Oakland won as +100 home underdogs, while the game played OVER the 7-run total posted by oddsmakers.
Suzuki finished 3-for-5 with three runs batted in for the Athletics, as Craig Breslow picked up the win in relief of Ben Sheets for Oakland.
Casey Kotchman was 2-for-4 with two RBIs for Seattle, while Brandon League took the loss after allowing Suzuki's single in the bottom of the 10th.
