Rays sweep Yankees

The Tampa Bay Rays completed a two-game sweep with an 8-6 victory over the New York Yankees Thursday night at Yankee Stadium.

Tampa Bay won the game as +120 underdogs, while the 14 runs made it OVER the posted over/under (9) set by sportsbooks.

Carlos Pena belted two solo home runs to lift the Rays, and James Shields scattered three earned runs over 7 1-3 innings in the win.

Andy Pettitte gave up six earned runs off nine hits in five innings in a losing effort.
