Indians fend off White Sox

Austin Kearns drove in a run and scored on a balk as the Cleveland Indians got by the Chicago White Sox 3-1 Saturday at U.S. Cellular Field.

The Indians won the game as a +134 underdog, while the teams played UNDER the posted over/under (9) set by sportsbooks.

Mitch Talbot improved to 7-4 with the win, allowing one earned run over his seven innings for the Indians.

Jake Peavy gave up a pair of runs on six hits over seven innings in the loss.
