Mariners get swept by Royals
Casey Kotchman belted two home runs and knocked in three as the Kansas City Royals beat the Seattle Mariners 7-3 Wednesday to sweep to three-game set at Safeco Field.
The Royals won the game as +127 underdogs, while the 10 runs made it OVER the posted over/under (8) set by sportsbooks.
Victor Marte earned the win in relief for the Royals, and Joakim Soria closed out the game for his 25th save.
Brandon League gave up three runs in relief and was tagged with the loss.
