White Sox nip Twins

Gordon Beckham homered and drove in a pair of runs as the Chicago White Sox beat the Minnesota Twins 8-7 Thursday night.

The White Sox won the game as +105 underdogs, while the 15 runs sailed OVER the posted over/under (8.5) set by sportsbooks.

John Danks tossed six innings and improved to 9-7, while Bobby Jenks closed out the ninth for his 20th save.

Alex Burnett gave up two hits and three runs in relief and was tagged with the loss.
