Rangers outlast Tigers in extra innings
Nelson Cruz's two-run dinger in the top of the 14th inning lifted the Texas Rangers past the Detroit Tigers 8-6 on Monday night.
Texas cashed as +105 road underdogs, while the teams played OVER the 9.5-run total set by sportsbooks.
Cruz finished 3-for-6 with a homer and four runs batted in for the Rangers, as Matt Harrison got the win in relief of Scott Feldman for Texas.
Miguel Cabrera went 3-for-6 with two big flies and three RBIs for Detroit, while Enrique Gonzalez took the loss after allowing Cruz's blast in the 14th.
