Yankees edge Indians

Curtis Granderson's two-run blast in the top of the eighth inning lifted the New York Yankees past the Cleveland Indians 3-2 on Monday night.

New York won as -180 road favorites, while the teams played UNDER the 9-run total set by sportsbooks.

Nick Swisher also homered for New York, as winning pitcher Javier Vazquez gave up two runs over seven innings for the Yankees.

Travis Hafner went yard for Cleveland, while Jake Westbrook was handed the loss after allowing three runs over eight innings for the Indians.
