Derek Jeter drove in three runs Sunday night and the New York Yankees defeated the Boston Red Sox 7-2.

Mark Teixeira hit a solo home run for New York and Lance Berkman was 3-4 with an RBI and two runs scored.

Bill Hall was 3-4 with a solo home run for Boston and Josh Beckett was roughed up for seven runs on 11 hits in 4 2-3 innings.
