Twins smack White Sox

Michael Cuddyer went 2-for-5 with a two-run blast and four runs batted in, as the Minnesota Twins defeated the Chicago White Sox 12-6 on Tuesday night.

Minnesota cashed as -120 road favorites, while the teams played OVER the 9-run total posted by oddsmakers.

Joe Mauer was 3-for-5 with a two-run homer and three RBIs for the Twins, as Scott Baker got the win after allowing four earned runs over six innings for Minnesota.

Carlos Quentin hit a three-run shot and had four RBIs for Chicago, while losing pitcher Freddy Garcia was ripped for six runs over 2 1-3 innings for the White Sox.
