Red Sox stop Rays

Victor Martinez launched two solo home runs and the Boston Red Sox went on to defeat the Tampa Bay Rays 3-1 Friday night at Tropicana Field.

The Red Sox won the game as +120 underdogs, while the four runs went UNDER the posted over/under (7) set by sportsbooks.

Jon Lester collected the win for the Red Sox, allowing just two hits and one run over seven innings. Jonathan Papelbon earned his 33rd save with a scoreless ninth.

David Price was tagged with the Rays loss, giving up 10 hits and three runs over his seven innings.
