Paul Konerko hit a three-run homer in the eighth inning to lift the Chicago White Sox to a 6-4 win over the Cleveland Indians, and a sweep of the three-game series at Progressive Field Wednesday afternoon.
The White Sox won the finale as -130 favorites, and the 10 runs made it OVER the posted over/under (9.5) set by sportsbooks.
Tony Pena went three innings of relief to earn the win for the White Sox, while Chris Sale collected his first save with a scoreless ninth.
Justin Germano gave up two runs in relief and suffered the loss for the Indians.
