Angels double Mariners

Hideki Matsui went deep for a two-run homer and the LA Angels beat the Seattle Mariners 4-2 Wednesday night in the series rubber match.

The Angels won the game as +110 underdogs, while the six runs went UNDER the posted over/under (7.5) set by sportsbooks.

Trevor Bell pitched six innings for the win, allowing nine hits and two runs. Fernando Rodney tossed a scoreless ninth for his eighth save.

Jason Vargas surrendered four hits and three runs over seven innings in the loss.
