Tigers double White Sox

Johnny Damon went a perfect 4-for-4 with a run batted in and the Detroit Tigers earned a series-clinching 6-3 win over the Chicago White Sox Thursday.

The Tigers won the game as +115 underdogs, while the nine runs made it OVER the posted over/under (8.5) set by sportsbooks.

Rick Porcello scattered four hits and three runs over eight solid innings for the victory. Ryan Perry pitched a scoreless ninth to pick up the save.

Alex Rios launched a two-run homer for the White Sox, while Gavin Floyd gave up 13 hits and six runs over six innings in the loss.
