Rays nip Yankees in rubber match

Dan Johnson cracked two homers in leading the Tampa Bay Rays to a 4-3 win over the New York Yankees Wednesday night at Tropicana Field, and now lead the AL East by a half-game.

The Rays won the game as -115 favorites, while the seven runs went UNDER the posted over/under (9.5) set by sportsbooks.

Chad Qualls got the win in relief, and Rafael Soriano closed out the ninth for his 43rd save.

Phil Hughes suffered the loss for the Yankees, giving up six hits and four runs over his 6 2-3 innings.
