Rangers cruise past Tigers

David Murphy belted a three-run homer and drove in four runs to propel the Texas Rangers in a 11-7 win over the Detroit Tigers Wednesday night at Rangers Ballpark.

The Rangers won the game as -172 favorites, and the 18 runs sailed OVER the posted over/under (9.5) set by sportsbooks.

Ian Kinsler hit a two-run homer and drove in three runs for the Rangers. Colby Lewis pitched the win for the Rangers, allowing five runs over his six innings.

Armando Galarraga gave up eight hits and eight runs in just 3 2-3 innings in the loss.
