Angels topple Athletics

Erick Aybar knocked in two runs to lead the Los Angeles Angels over the Oakland Athletics 6-5 on Monday night.

Los Angeles won as -120 home favorites, while the teams played OVER the 7-run total set by oddsmakers.

Maicer Izturis was 2-for-3 with a run batted in for the Angels, as Michael Kohn got the win for Los Angeles in relief of Ervin Santana.

Kurt Suzuki went 2-for-3 with two RBIs for Oakland, while Brad Ziegler was hit with the loss for the Athletics after coming into the game for Brett Anderson.
