San Diego won the game as a -110 pick’em, while the nine runs made it OVER the posted over/under (7.5).
Chase Headley went 2-for-5 with a three-run homer in leading the Padres. Heath Bell tossed a scoreless ninth and picked up the win.
Juan Gutierrez allowed four runs off two hits over the final inning on the mound in the loss.
