The Houston Astros held off a late rally from the Chicago Cubs for a 4-3 victory at Wrigley Field Saturday afternoon.
Houston won as a +131 road underdog while the final score played UNDER the 7.5-run total.
The Astros got a good day at the plate from catcher J.R. Towles, who was 3-for-4 with two RBI. Starting pitcher Roy Oswalt went seven innings, giving up just five hits and striking out six batters before the bullpen surrendered three runs in the eighth inning.
Third baseman Aramis Ramirez finished the day 1-for-4 with two RBI for the Cubs. Starter Tom Gorzelanny lasted just three innings, allowing two runs on three hits while walking one batter.
