Gerardo Parra went 2-for-5 with two runs batted in for the Diamondbacks, as winning pitcher Dan Haren gave up seven runs over six innings for Arizona.
Ryan Ludwick was 3-for-4 with two homers and three RBIs for St. Louis, while Mitchell Boggs was tagged with the loss in relief of Kyle Lohse for the Cardinals.
