D-Backs tear apart Cubs

Adam LaRoche belted two home runs and finished with five RBIs Thursday, as the Arizona Diamondbacks routed the Chicago Cubs 13-5 in the series opener.

Arizona won the game as +145 underdogs, while the 18 runs sailed OVER the posted over/under (13) set by sportsbooks.

Ian Kennedy tossed eight innings for the win, allowing four earned runs off six hits for the Diamondbacks.

Kosuke Fukudome belted a grand slam for the Cubs, while Ted Lilly surrendered six earned runs in his five innings on the mound.
