Giants outlast Marlins in extra innings

Aubrey Huff's two-run single highlighted a three-run top of the 12th inning, as the San Francisco Giants took down the Florida Marlins 9-6 on Tuesday night.

San Francisco won as -180 road favorites, while the teams played OVER the 7.5-run total set by sportsbooks.

Aaron Rowand was 3-for-5 with a solo drive and three runs batted in for the Giants, as Dan Runzler picked up the win in relief of Tim Lincecum for San Francisco.

Hanley Ramirez went 3-for-6 with a three-run jack for Florida, while Burke Badenhop took the defeat after allowing the go-ahead runs in the top of the 12th.
