Lincecum, Giants shut down Astros

Tim Lincecum allowed no earned runs over eight innings to earn the victory in the San Francisco Giants' 3-1 win over the Houston Astros on Tuesday night.

San Francisco won as -150 road favorites, while the teams played UNDER the 6.5-run total listed by oddsmakers.

Pablo Sandoval, Pat Burrell, and Nate Schierholtz drove in runs for the Giants, as Bengie Molina was 2-for-2 for San Francisco.

Michael Bourn went 2-for-4 with a run batted in for Houston, while losing pitcher Roy Oswalt gave up two runs over seven innings for the Astros.
