Stephen Drew hit a three-run homer and drove in four runs to power the Arizona Diamondbacks in a 11-5 win over the San Diego Padres Thursday night, avoiding a three-game sweep at Petco Park.
The Diamondbacks won the finale as +150 underdogs, while the 16 runs sailed OVER the posted over/under (7.5) set by sportsbooks.
Ian Kennedy tossed a one-hit shutout through seven innings with 12 strikeouts to pick up the win on the mound for the Diamondbacks.
Kevin Correia surrendered nine hits and nine runs over 3 1-3 innings in the Padres loss.
