D-Backs edge Rockies in sweep
Stephen Drew homered and drove in four runs to lead the Arizona Diamondbacks over the Colorado Rockies 10-9 Thursday night for a sweep of the three-game series at Chase Field.
The Diamondbacks won the game as a -110 pick'em, while the 19 runs sailed OVER the posted over/under (9) set by sportsbooks.
D.J. Carrasco earned the win in relief for the Diamondbacks, and Juan Gutierrez closed out the ninth for his 12th save.
Carlos Gonzalez belted a grand slam and drove in six runs for the Rockies. Jeff Francis was tagged with the loss, giving up six hits and three runs over his 3 2-3 innings.
