Giants stifle Phillies

Matt Cain tossed seven scoreless innings to earn the win in the San Francisco Giants' 3-0 victory over the Philadelphia Phillies in Game 3 of the NLCS on Tuesday.

San Francisco cashed as +110 home underdogs, while the teams played UNDER the 6.5-run total set by oddsmakers.

Aubrey Huff, Cody Ross, and Freddy Sanchez drove in the runs for the Giants, who now lead the best-of-seven series 2-1.

Cole Hamels allowed three runs over six innings to take the loss for Philadelphia, which managed only three hits on the day.
