Houston dropped a 5-1 decision at Minute Maid Park on Wednesday as Chicago legged out a win behind winning pitcher Travis Wood.

Houston's starting pitcher Fernando Abad worked 3 1/3 innings, giving up 4 hits and 1 earned run while striking out 2 in the loss. They got 2 hits from Brandon Barnes in a losing cause.

Chicago outhit their counterparts 11-6 in the game.

Chicago looks to continue its winning ways next game with a battle against Pittsburgh. Houston will aim to get back on the winning track vs Philadelphia.
