Nowitzki, Mavericks run past Jazz

Dirk Nowitzki went for 40 points, 11 rebounds, and five blocks to lead the Dallas Mavericks past the Utah Jazz 96-85 on Tuesday night.

Dallas covered as 6-point home favorites, while the teams played UNDER the 203-point total posted by sportsbooks.

Jason Kidd had 19 points and six assists for the Mavericks, who got 10 points and eight boards from Shawn Marion in the payday.

Deron Williams dropped 22 points for Utah, while Mehmet Okur added 14 points, 14 rebounds, and four steals for the Jazz.
