Bruins surge past Beavers

The UCLA Bruins scored 28 points in the fourth quarter on Saturday to rally past the favored Oregon State Beavers and pick up a 40-14 victory.

The Beavers had been listed as 3-point favorites in this contest, while the combined score went just OVER the day's posted total (52).

Bruins quarterback Ben Olson completed 14-of-25 pass attempts in the win, throwing two touchdown strikes and getting intercepted once. Kahlil Bell rushed for two UCLA scores.

Yvenson Bernard ran for 129 yards on 28 carries in the loss for Oregon State, and scored a touchdown.
