Cougars fend off Bears
Loren Langley kicked a field goal with under 10 seconds remaining to lift the Washington State Cougars to a hard-fought 17-15 win over the Baylor Bears Saturday.
Washington State failed to cover the 13-point spread in the win, while the game’s 32 combined points went UNDER the posted total (51.5).
Jason Hill scored a TD in the win, catching six passes for 72 yards and quarterback Alex Brink was good on 21-of-32 for 247 yards with one interception.
Justin Fenty caught five balls for 65 yards and one touchdown, while QB Shawn Bell completed 31-of-48 in the loss.
