Huskies stave off Cougars

Despite giving up two fourth-quarter touchdowns, the Washington Huskies were able to pull out a 35-32 win over the Washington State Cougars Saturday at Martin Stadium.

Washington stole the game as 8.5-point underdogs and the combined 67 points sailed OVER the posted total of 43.

Louis Rankin rushed for two touchdowns with 119 yards on 17 carries, while quarterback Carl Bonnell was good on 14-of-27 passing with two touchdowns and two picks.

Cougars quarterback Alex Brink completed 32-of-55 passes with 331 yards total and two touchdowns.
