Carmelo Anthony dropped a game-high 38 points in lifting the Denver Nuggets to a 111-101 victory over the Houston Rockets Wednesday night.
Denver covered the 8.5-point spread, while the 212 points made it OVER the posted total of 211.
J.R. Smith added 21 points for the Nuggets, and Chauncey Billups chipped in with 15 in the win.
Aaron Brooks netted 23 points and dished out seven assists in the loss for the Rockets.
