Louisiana-Monroe vs TCU Recap - Horned Frogs Win 38-17
Josh Boyce was good for 134 receiving yards on Saturday as the Horned Frogs grabbed a 38-17 win over the Warhawks at Amon Carter Stadium.
TCU did not, however, defeat the Warhawks against the spread, which closed at 28 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 53.5.
Casey Pachall completed 15 of 23 pass attempts for 204 yards for the Horned Frogs in the win. He did not throw an interception in the game.
Jyruss Edwards rushed for 56 yards for Louisiana-Monroe, while Centarius Donald added 23 yards. Kolton Browning threw for 194 yards for the Warhawks, while receivers Brent Leonard and Tavarese Maye had 92 and 72 yards respectively.
TCU outgained Louisiana-Monroe 411-314 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 23-19 by the Horned Frogs.
The time of possession battle favored TCU as their offense was on the field for 30:19, longer than the 29:41 of their opponents.
Next game, TCU takes its act home to face Portland State looking for another win. For Louisiana-Monroe, they head on the road to face Iowa.
