Crimson Tide sweep away Gamecocks

Brodie Croyle threw for two scores and ran for another Saturday to lead the Alabama Crimson Tide to a 37-14 win over the South Carolina Gamecocks.

The Tide easily covered the 1.5-point spread in this game. The combined score went OVER the contest’s posted total (42).

Croyle went 13-of-22 for 151 yards in the win. Keith Brown had two TD receptions, and Kenneth Darby ran for an Alabama major.

Blake Mitchell was good on 20-of-38 pass attempts for 173 yards for South Carolina. Mitchell connected with Sidney Rice for a score, and Mike Davis ran for a touchdown in the loss.
