Timberwolves down Clippers

The lowly Minnesota Timberwolves jumped out to an early lead as they went on to defeat the LA Clippers 111-97 Friday night.

Minnesota covered the 1-point spread, while the 208 points made it OVER the posted total of 201.

Al Jefferson finished with 14 points and 16 rebounds for a double-double in the win. Corey Brewer went for 20 points and five rebounds for the Timberwolves.

Baron Davis had 28 points with four rebounds and five assists for the Clippers.
