Tigers hand Crimson Tide second loss
The hometown Auburn Tigers scored three first-quarter touchdowns and held on Saturday to defeat No. 8 ranked Alabama Crimson Tide 28-18.
No. 11 ranked Auburn were coming in as 7-point favorites at home and made good on covering the spread. The game's 46 points were OVER the posted total (38).
Auburn QB Brandon Cox went 14-of-21 for 121 yards and two touchdowns in the victory. Crimson Tide QB Brodie Croyle was sacked an unbelievable seven times in the loss.
Alabama now drops to 9-2 on the year with the loss.
