Nowitzki, Mavericks slip past Bobcats

Dirk Nowitzki dropped 27 points and grabbed 13 rebounds to lead the Dallas Mavericks past the Charlotte Bobcats 89-84 on Monday night.

Dallas cashed as 3-point road underdogs, while the game played UNDER the 190.5-point total listed by oddsmakers.

Caron Butler scored 22 points for the Mavericks, who got 20 points off the bench from Jason Terry in the upset.

Stephen Jackson went for 20 points and seven boards for Charlotte, while reserve Tyrus Thomas had 16 points and 12 rebounds for the Bobcats.
