Mavericks hold off Timberwolves

The Dallas Mavericks got out to an early lead and held on for a thrilling 112-109 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves Wednesday night.

Dallas failed to cover the 14-point spread, and the combined 221 points sailed OVER the posted total of 201.5.

Jason Terry led the Mavericks with 26 points and five assists, while Dirk Nowitzki chipped in with 22 points in the win.

Corey Brewer collected a team-high 24 points and seven rebounds for the Timberwolves.
