Rams Fall 38-35 Against UNLV - Game Recap
The Rams had no answer for Dionza Bradford on Saturday as the Rebels rolled to a 38-35 win at Sam Boyd Stadium.
UNLV won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the 2.5-point spread as underdogs. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 47.5.
Caleb Herring completed 9 of 13 pass attempts for 90 yards for the Rebels in the win. He did not throw an interception in the game.
Chris Nwoke rushed for 156 yards for Colorado State, while Raymond Carter added 43 yards. Pete Thomas threw for 230 yards for the Rams, while receivers Crockett Gillmore and Lou Greenwood had 81 and 54 yards respectively.
Colorado State outgained UNLV 480-361 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 26-20 by the Rams.
The time of possession battle favored Colorado State as their offense was on the field for 32:26, longer than the 27:34 of their opponents.
UNLV looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Boise State. Colorado State will aim to get back on the winning track vs San Diego State.
