Mavericks knock off Nets

Jason Kidd deposited 20 points and had nine assists Wednesday night, as the Dallas Mavericks defeated the New Jersey Nets 96-87.

The Mavericks were an 11-point favorite in the game, but were unable to cover the spread. The combined score fell UNDER the posted over/under total (204).

Caron Butler added 18 points for Dallas and Shawn Marion delivered 14 points and 13 rebounds.

Devin Harris led the Nets with 21 points and Terrence Williams had 18 points and 13 rebounds.
