Hurricanes roar past Herd
Javarris James rushed for two touchdowns on Saturday afternoon as the Miami Hurricanes blew past the Marshall Thundering Herd by a final score of 31-3.
Miami covered the 18.5-point spread in the season-opening win, while the 34 points fell UNDER the posted total of 48.
James carried the ball 13 times for 93 yards in the victory for Miami. Kirby Freeman completed just 9-of-21 pass attempts for 86 yards on the day.
Anthony Binswanger kicked a 37-yard field goal for the only points for Marshall.
