Dirk Nowitzki went for a game-high 40 points as the Dallas Mavericks defeated the Portland Trail Blazers 83-77 Friday night.
Dallas won the game as 5-point underdogs, while the 160 points went UNDER the posted total of 191.
Caron Butler chipped in with 18 points and seven rebounds for the Mavericks. LaMarcus Aldridge netted 27 points and grabbed five rebounds for the Trail Blazers in the loss.
