Tigers rally to defeat Sun Devils
The LSU Tigers scored 28 points in the fourth quarter Saturday night to come from behind and defeat the Arizona State Sun Devils by a 35-31 score.
The Sun Devils had been favored by 1 point at home in this game, which was originally scheduled to be played at LSU. The combined score went OVER the night’s posted total (52).
Tigers QB JaMarcus Russell went 16-for-29 for 233 yards in the win, and threw a touchdown pass to Early Doucet. Joseph Addai ran for two LSU scores, and the Tigers also returned both a blocked punt and a blocked field goal for touchdowns.
Sam Keller was good on 35-of-56 pass attempts for 466 yards for Arizona State. Keller threw two touchdown passes to Jamaal Lewis and one each to Rudy Burgess and Moey Mutz.
