The Arizona State Sun Devils were too hot as they pummeled the Nevada Wolf Pack 52-21 Saturday night.

Arizona State easily covered the 17-point spread at home in the contest, while the combined score went OVER the posted total (58.5).

Rudy Carpenter threw for five touchdowns, completing 17-of-26 passes for 334 yards total in the win as the Sun Devils are 2-0 to start the season.

Adam Bishop caught one touchdown pass, grabbing four balls for 53 yards in the loss.
