Ducks use defense to beat Sun Devils

Dennis Dixon had three touchdown passes as the No.14 Oregon Ducks scored 17 points in the fourth quarter to beat Arizona State 48-13 at Sun Devil Stadium on Saturday.

The Ducks were 10-point underdogs to win on the road, and the 61 points scored was just UNDER the posted total of 62.5.

Dixon was 20-for-31 for 214 yards, and Jaison Williams caught ten passes for 137 yards and two majors for the Ducks.

Rudy Carpenter was a measly 6-for-19 for 33 yards and one interception, and Ryan Torain carried the ball 19 times for 113 yards for the Sun Devils.
